Designing Old Navy’s PPD Files

I helped the design team at Tru Fragrance set up PPD (pre production) files in Adobe Illustrator for Old Navy’s new line of perfumes.

THE PROCESS
I took approved files sent over from Tru Fragrance and input the corresponding colors, ingredient lists, and scent names into separate art boards on Adobe Illustrator.
We made sure all art boards were organized so their layers and layout was consistent and in the same place.
Pantone to HEX
I converted each Pantone to its corresponding Hex code with the color conversion tool on Pantone.com.
The final product.
Once the PPD files are sent to print and production begins, these will come off the screen and onto the shelves at Old Navy!
