La Didot tells the history of the French Typeface, Didot. Through motion graphics, the letters come to life in a retro-modern fashion, while the poster and booklet display its type families, classifications, poster specs, and a quote by Hermann Zapf.

Process Work:

Behind the scenes of designing La Didot’s motion graphics. This involved pulling from the original color palette and poster design, making thumbnail sketches, and syncing the visuals up to the tempo of the music so that it becomes dancing type!
